Opportunities
Pages Alive Theater has grown to offer more opportunities! These roles will be as involved as the students are interested. The goal is a student-run show with much guidance and coaching along the way. Students may join:
- The Performance Team– act on stage with or without speaking roles. Possible choreography, singing in a group, or solo. We create each show as God guides and according to student willingness.
- A Production Team– Tech Team (Sound and Lights), Costume Team (Costumes, Make-Up/Hair), and Design Team (Props and Set). More below.
- Leadership Team– Student Directors. More below.

Aug 3 CAST PARTY 12-2
We are casting for multiple roles for both boys and girls. There are speaking roles and non-speaking roles. No experience is necessary and even shy students can participate. This show will be 30 minutes long with easy costuming. The focus is on the process of performing and story-telling, acting skills, and most importantly how to work together through encouragement and teamwork. Understanding the key message of the story will also be a large part of the experience. (If a second cast is needed, they will meet at the same time in the same class.)

Aug 3 CAST PARTY 12-2
We are casting for multiple roles as made famous in the movie version. Some roles may be added to accommodate our cast. Some roles may become roles for girls. The focus is on basic stage skills, understanding the key message of the story, effective acting, and of course- humility while strengthening their talents.
(If a second cast is needed, it will meet after Pandora’s Box or Wednesdays. Same location.)

Tech Team 12+
May 31, 11:00-11:30 Production Team BBT
Same dates as above but starts 30 minutes prior to cast arrival.
This Team will learn lighting and sound cues for the two plays. To be considered for this Production Team, the student must be able to commit to dress rehearsals and show dates and cross train with others. Ideally every Tech Team member can run every performance. The month of June will be learning the lights, the sound cue program, and making a production plan. The month of July will be implementing the plan and making edits.
Design Team 10+
Same dates as above but starts 30 minutes prior to cast arrival.
This team will comb through the script and create a prop plan and offer ideas for the set design based on actor and script needs. The Director and Student Director will meet with this team to guide the plan. The Design Team will maintain order and neatness with props backstage and help actors have what they need during performances. In some cases this team will be creating props and set pieces.
Costume Team 12+

Same dates as above but starts 30 minutes prior to cast arrival.
This Team will create and maintain a Costume Plan template, help actors off-stage during costume changes, and help with make-up and hair for the two plays. To be considered for this Tech Team, the student must be able to commit to dress rehearsals and show dates and cross train with others. Ideally every Tech Team member can run every performance. The month of June will be learning the lights, the sound cue program, and making a production plan. The month of July will be implementing the plan and making edits.
Leadership Team 12+
Same dates as above but starts 30 minutes prior to cast arrival.
Student Directors help actors to stay focused by running lines, helping coach basic skills, offer peer feedback and pep talks, and help block scenes. A Student Director offers ideas to all Teams. Directors attend performances. It is possible for an actor with a small role to join Student Leadership.
Siblings can possibly be in the same production to make rehearsal schedules more convenient, if age restrictions would otherwise separate them. We try to keep siblings together when possible.
